Terms of Service

1. About the service

Our website lets you order food from Jeff's BBQ for pickup at my location in Wylie, TX or at a special event. The menu and pickup times depend on where I am and what I have cooked that day. The order page tells you what I am serving right now.

2. Your order is your responsibility

When you submit an order, take a second to double-check it before you hit Place Order. After you place the order, what you ordered is what I make.

If you picked the wrong item or the wrong modifier, please call me right away at the number below and I will do my best to fix it. I cannot guarantee changes once the kitchen has started.

3. Payment

Two ways to pay:

• Cash. Pay when you pick up. I will have your order ready at the time you picked.
• Card. Card payments are processed by Accept.blue. I never see your card number. The receipt is emailed to you from their gateway.

All sales are final once the kitchen has started preparing your order. I do not offer refunds for items that have already been smoked, sliced, or plated. If something is genuinely wrong with your order, call me and I will make it right.

4. Text messages

When you place an order, the checkout shows a checkbox asking if you want me to text you when your order is ready. You have to check that box before I send anything.

• I send transactional messages only. Things like your order is ready for pickup.
• I do not send marketing or promotional texts.
• Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
• Reply HELP for help.

Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier charges for the message. The text itself is free.

5. No warranty

The site and the service are provided as-is. I do my best to keep everything working, but I cannot guarantee the site will always be up, the menu will always be accurate, or the pickup time will always be exactly when I say. If something is wrong, call me and I will work it out.

6. Limitation of liability

I am not liable for indirect or consequential damages. That means things like lost profits, lost business opportunities, or other damages that are not the direct cost of a problem with your order. My liability for any direct issue is limited to the cost of the order in question.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Collin County, Texas, where I do business.

9. Changes to these terms

If I make changes to these terms, I will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date. For material changes, I will put a notice on the home page for a while so regulars have a chance to see it.
